French toast today.  

Looks fabulous; I haven't made French toast in years.

I can't take credit except for ordering. brunch and I didn't want a lot of food. this was perfect and I tossed most of the butter. 

I would have traded the butter for whipped cream…

We always cook it in butter, so no need to add more. I can't even begin to imagine how many calories in a couple of slices of my French toast, but I'm thinking many, many.
