That looks lovely! Remind me what rub you use and do you brine it first? I don't use a BBQ or smoker but I do regularly slow roast large joints and I'm sure the recipe would adapt. All the best, Phil and great to see you back 👍🏻

Pulled pork shoulder rocks and pairs well with any (even healthy) coleslaw. Makes a great sandwich, Yum.

I rubbed it with salt, pepper, garlic powder, dried onion flakes, and paprika. Keto-friendly, and plan to eat it with a side of sliced avocado. Right now it's resting, a crucial step in great barbecue.

I cut my grocery budget to about $20/week on keto, would go through one of those pork shoulders @$1/pound, that was about half my budget, the rest would be avocado, chicharrones, and/or other low starch high fiber vegetables. Never got old. I cut that pork shoulder about an hour ago, best way to describe it is meat candy. Every other way of eating should be so easy.

Love pork! It’s the other white meat! And great on salads or in stir fry. For me it’s a major go to meat in my budget and gravies have been added back in because they are a great way to add some fat back into the “low fat” diet the doctors have had me on for years that didn’t work! LOL 🤷🏻♀️
