How is the studying going? Destress after all of the work!!!  

Hey Binky 😊 really good in Abnormal Psychology. Psychology Behavioral Sex is a lot of studying like Abnormal Psychology and mostly the same workload, but a lot of technology stuff and it’s frustrating because I love Psychology but I’m taking these extra classes as I don’t need them. I have Nursing professors emailing about Advanced Dosage but I’m nervous about the TEAS test. I don’t know why😔 I have really good grades. AP I...B, AP II... an A. 4th Psychology class. Philosophy a B. Sociology a B. My pre requisites on point. Health Care field 19 years. It was an honor to take N 125 2 semesters ago and not be in clinicals, it’s an honor this semester to get emails for higher classes and for them to be surprised I did N125( dosage and calculations) and not be in clinicals yet. The professor thought I was already in. I need to just take the TEAS and apply. I hold myself back, like I I did losing weight. It’s time to get it. But my youngest is half day kindergarten.  

My Advisor is a Nursing advisor and is the professor at the end of the RN clinicals. She unlocked the N125 course for me. I need to get out of my own way.  

I have so much respect for nurses. I know you are already nursing, but what kind of nursing do you want to do when you have completed your coursework? Yes, psychology is interesting...but hard! Pace yourself. KINDERGARTEN ROCKS! Celebrate that age! It is so fun!!! Beware exhaustion!  

Binky❤️ I am super interested in psychology, A Psychology RN as a specialty, like advanced in the field. Working UC for 10 years could also do ER. But, I would really love to be my private practices 1st RN. I can’t do pediatrics😔 I might be able to do hospice but I’m a big cry baby. I can’t do sick children. I thought Labor and Delivery....life is beautiful and child birth is beautiful, but I cannot do still births. I originally was going to get my CRNP, am not sure I have it in me.

Psych RN? A lot of working with people and different personalities! Exciting! I know what you mean about delivery. My aunt worked 30 years with premature babies and I don't know how she did it. Miracles and tragedies every week! It's amazing how many different types of nursing there are!

Binky the scopes of nursing is amazing!! You can even work for the state and get all the holidays and vacation days. You can work for an insurance company not my cup of tea as I want to be all in. CRNP, which was my first goal, but I don’t want to burn myself out.
