Happy Weekend, my Buddies!

I finally saw both Idiot Boxes in a consistent place so logged a small loss. I have my nutrition plan ready for the day, and I will go to the gym to throw around some weights and do some HIIT on the rowing machine!

CURRENT GOALS: March/April
* Idiot Box consistent weight of 166 by May 1
* Bodyfat at 27% by May 1
* Macros consistent: Average 65%-70% fat, 23%-25% protein and 9%(or less) carbs, with NET carbs always less than 20 grams daily
* Consume more fiber within the daily NET carbs macro
* Continue to lift heavier at gym – increase reps on heaviest weights
* Continue HIIT during cardio work
* Do the “crab” move by May 1 – I know what this means!

LONG RANGE GOALS: 2016
* Bodyfat at 25% or less
* Idiot Box at 158lbs or less (85lbs lost)
* Increased strength and flexibility

I am trying for a solid 166 by 3-15, 165 by 4-1 -- remember my 164 weight was before I changed the batteries in the stupid scale, so it was not an accurate weight. Wish I had actually weighed that. I am trying to reach 142 by September. I still think that's do-able. You are my inspiration to keep reinforcing my written goals and stay within my plan.

@Hermione's Mom: I go very very conservative when I make goals for the Idiot Box numbers. My focus is losing bodyfat more than pounds...and I lose so darn slow with my thyroid stuff, so 166 by May 1 is possible for me. YOU are rocking it, so I have confidence you will see movement more quickly.

I don't know, HCB. I seem to average .75 pounds per week over time. I'm hypothyroid, but it's been checked recently and my meds are just right. I am only just now getting into the body fat measurement now that I joined the health club. I am not familiar with how you figure out what the right percentage is for you, but I'm assuming the trainer will be able to tell me. All the trainers at this place have to have at least a bachelor's in exercise physiology, so I'm thinking I'll get some expertise. Routing for you always.

Thanks, HM! The "right" bodyfat depends on gender and age. I will be 61 in May, so my current goal is 25% for this year. Younger women, of course, can hit the teens.
