How I make it: You need a stock pot or big pot. First, some vinegar, I used the whole bottle in the picture, Whole peppercorns, minced garlic, 3 cups of water, 1 full bottle of Soy Sauce( I choose low sodium) I also added 1/4 cup probably of a sweet soy sauce, ginger ( I bought fresh and grated it in, but you can use the squeezable) Fresh lemon grass( grate it in) Don’t waste food friends, freeze off that ginger and lemongrass. Brown sugar probably 1/2 cup🤷🏻‍♀️😂, red pepper flakes... a few good shakes, basil 🌿 a half handful.... I have baby hands so go from there, ground thyme, no sea salt or salt as it is not necessary in this dish,Adobo( I use Goya, and just a healthy sprinkle), oregano 🌿, and a good pinch of sage, Add in your chicken thighs with skin and bone, or skinless and boneless, 2 small cans of bamboo shoots. Bring to a boil for 12-15 minutes, then put lid on and put on simmer for at least an hour, I like to pair it with baked cut up potatoes where I use basil, minced garlic, regular pepper, oregano, a nice pat of butter, a sprinkle of white sugar to aid in a lovely browning, a little Dukkah( something i recently started cooking and baking with, first time on my potatoes with this dish) bake , mix and broil for five minutes, tossing the potatoes between.

The potatoes need to bake 45 minutes while tossing. The broil for potatoes is 5 minutes with tossing.  

Too with green and back olives or just green or black. 🤗😋

Wonder if you could make this in an Instant Pot? Really infuse the flavors and wouldn't have to use so much liquid....not that it doesn't look perfectly delish already!

I got mine as a gift and was terrified to use it the first month. Then I read the manual and started there. Next was finding recipes online. Turkey breast alone is a good reason to have one...whole chicken too. It is so easy and the new ones they have now make a beeping noise when it is closed properly...so you can't go wrong. All you have to do is check the vent to see if closed. 

Maybe I will get one Binky 🤗 love me some turkey breast and I know it can be used for so many meals😃 my eyeballs are screaming and watering. I have to go night night. Good night my friend 😴😴💜 Good night my other FS friends 💜💚
