Back to drinking almost ALL Diet Coke. No interest in water, except an occasional cup of hot tea. Eating pretty much anything I want. Ridiculous number of calories yesterday! Already off to a high count for today. Getting harder to find things to be positive about -- I did record everything I ate, and I did get in my Fiber. I UN-loaded the dishwasher yesterday but left all the dirty dishes in the sink. I've got a basket of clean clothes to fold that's been sitting on the bench for about 5 days now. General state of anxiousness. Going to keep my little grandson for a few hour today, which will at least increase my level of activity some. Any day I leave the house is a better day than normal. Shrink appointment on Friday. Going to make the appointments closer together this time!

I feel ya! Load in the dryer since Friday? Loads of dirty clothes (sorted by color of course) piled up from the bathroom across my front entry hall. Clean dishes in the dishwasher, dirty dishes and recycling filling up both sides of my sink. When you see your shrink on Friday see if you can get some positivity for me too please. I'm supposed to host Thanksgiving this year aiyaiyai.

YIKES< @jeannieselby! That sounds like a lot of stress! I know it would be for ME! Thankfully, my mother-in-law is still alive and well, and "to grandmother's house we go!" Each family member brings 2-3 dishes, so the cooking isn't a burden on anyone. Her house is ALWAYS clean, so it's not a major stress on her to have it there. For ME, it would be overwhelming getting the house "company-ready" and then having to recover afterward! Best of luck to ya!

What is this travesty you speak of..."taking clothes out of the dryer and folding them up." Why would you want to go to all that trouble? Just drop the dirty ones in the washer when you take them off. Pull what you want to wear today out of the dryer/basket and get dressed. When the washer gets full, turn the darn thing on. By that time the basket/dryer will be empty anyway, so you can switch them over to the dryer when they are done. Easy, peasy...didn't I teach you youngsters anything??? LOL.

My friend...take solace in your special time with your grandson. Enjoy each moment! Then, what is it that you do when you are "off track" from your chores? Sleeping? Watching TV? Reading? Internet surfing? When I get stuck in something, I give myself a goal. I'll read one chapter....and then empty the dishwasher. I'll watch a TV show...and then fold clothes. I'll take a nap....and then wipe down the kitchen. It works the other way too...do the chore first, then reward. I used to get in slumps when writing papers in college. I would reward myself after each hour and half of work. Don't know if that helps. Sometimes when studying I would get stuck in my own little world. I made myself call a friend a couple of times a day so I wouldn't get that "lonely" zone. XOXO :)

Debbie you have been such a inspiration to us, I'm sadden to hear what all your feeling and going through, just remember we serve a BIG GOD, who can and will deliver us out of it all, when clouds try to get dark for me, I turn to God's Words for my comfort strength and peace, to keep my focus on Him, and off of how I'm feeling at that moment, I found out when I get so busy and distracted from spending time with Him life get's overwhelming for me, so I have to keep FOCUS on His Word and promises, trusting and believing in It, and I come back on the right path and have a peaceful mind, I Pray that you find your peace and joy to overcome what the enemy has drop in your spirit (like he try with so many of us) and remember he is the enemy and he's a liar and a deceiver to God's children, it's not true what he speaks in us, God is the Truth and the Life for us ALL, I love you and we're all here to encourage and help each other, Love always!❤❤❤🙏🙏🙏

Thank you, everyone, for your kind and thoughtful words! I really appreciate you taking the time to encourage me! This morning, I'm getting a 1-1/2 hour massage. I will probably go to the store to pick up just a few things, also. Tomorrow is psychiatrist appointment. That means I will have gone out (left the house) three days in a row! Small victories. I really appreciate y'all!

Hang in there, Debbie. Everybody needs a break sometimes. If we don't take one (or more) when we need it, it still happens eventually.
